At first, I thought that this was going to be a boring show, just judging for the tone of the host Ira Glass. If he’d talked the entire time I thought I would pass out.
But when the show went into the first act, I realized that there would be characters in each different act. The first story was interesting but I could relate more to the story in the second act.
I’m from Florida and I remember hearing about this but I didn’t know that the officers weren’t obvious. I figured it would be easy to tell if they were officers. Hearing this story, I felt bad for Justin. At first I felt bad because he was falling in love with someone who didn’t feel the same way but then it got worse because she set him up.
If he’s telling the truth, I think his case should have been an exception. He had dreams that were crushed because of an undercover investigation of someone else. I don’t feel like he should have been an example. It seemed like the woman posing as the student had no feelings towards the situation. How we she have felt if that happened to her son?
The third act, I couldn’t even tell you what that was about. I tried to listen but it was so hard. I know the story was about ducks but it didn’t keep me interested.
- the narrator’s tone was boring
- the music was too soothing
- there weren’t other characters
Overall, this was a good broadcast. I’m glad that the duck story didn’t close it out, it would have taken away from the show.

This book was very interested. I really like the way that it was written. Making it a book of diary entries allowed the reader to stay focused. I doubt that one could make a book worth reading just writing about the radio.
The way Sarah Vowell described the radio’s role in each day documented was very vivid.
- It gave the reader a visual of her day.
- It allowed the reader to imagine the radio’s role in her everyday life.
I would like to have a project where we capture how the radio played a role in our lives for a weekend or so.
This was definitely written from the heart. At times, I feel as if I neglect my bed. I hope to spend more time with Beddy over spring break.
It hurt me to type the words that must never be spoken but it had to be done. GO BLUE!
Really interesting excerpts so far. I wonder if she made her life seem more interesting than it really was in order to keep this book interesting.
I had the weirdest question ever. Thanks a lot Kelly.

It destroyed me to type that by the way..ugh!
For my final video project I couldn’t figure out what to do. I didn’t want to do something I had already done and I was tired of looking online for random content to piece together so I decided to create my own content.
I decided to do a stop-motion animation of my morning start.
- I took about 277 photos after moving each item in the camera frame by frame
- Next I uploaded all of the photos to iPhoto
- Then I imported the photos to iMovie
- I rotated those that had accidentally been upside down
- I adjusted the time so that it would seem like I started out moving slow and moved faster as the morning progressed
- I added the song “1000 Miles”
After I pieced the project together, I was very pleased. It was just crazy how I took so many pictures and it turned out to be only about a minute.
This week seemed to really fly by. But in the midst of it all, I was able to complete some fun assignments. My favorite was my Phineas and Ferb Mashup video.
This is a picture of Courtnee. She forced me to put this up since she put one up of me.
My greatest accomplishment will be graduating. I will be the first in my family to graduate from a four-year university and I’m so happy I could make my family proud.
This is my first ever snow man. It didn’t turn out how I imagined but I made it. My family in Florida was jealous. Especially my mom.
This is my second video. I have one more to go and I’m excited to see what else I’m capable of.
This video was very funny. I really liked the beginning.

I actually referenced this video in one of my posts.
